I have long watched
The ancient ones
Still playing the same games
Glimmer, glitter
Sparkle, and shine
Hiding, out in the open
In a package
that appears divine

You walk through accolades
False nobility
The crowd awaits you
You spin the energies
To achieve outcomes
The ancient weaver
The queen of darkness
Purveyor of hopes
And dreams
*
Spinning,
Towards your aims
Floating, free of time
Living in a slower rate of progression
Moving through the created universe
Hunting, picking, choosing
*
You have lived so long
You have outlived them all
There are so few of you left
The ancient ones
Eternity has tested your mettle
*
The ancient ones
Playing the games of long ago
Playing the games of dominion
Creeping through time
Gaining advantage
Gathering knowledge
*
The magic at play is an aspect of Creation
For ill, or for good
For better, or for worse
It is always moving
Changing, forming
Evolving, devolving
*
The initiating point
Of ancient density
Of the ancient games
Is in the future
Once found
Once sighted
The game ends
*
The slipstream
Of time opens
Into the past
Timelines fracture
History dissolves
Creation shifts
*
My Ancient Soul
Bearing responsibility
Wandering through time
Alone and weary
Searching for Love
And Home
Always growing, moving, shifting, creating
Searching for answers
And solutions
*
The ancient ones
You have the opportunity to choose
And take new form
The key, the code
Is in your pure truth
Should you have the courage
to lay down your ancient ways
and choose anew
*
The ancient ones
Still playing the same games
Still taking, directing, controlling
Still giving, granting, awarding
For loyalty to you
The pain lays covered and
Still in need of healing
Long ago
