Video Presentation: How the Sun Lit Up a Spot Next to the Moon

My friend Alex Clark and I recently had a series of discussions of a phenomena of a light shining besides the moon that I saw during the full lunar eclipse of January 2018.

On this video, I gave Alex a demonstration of how the sun lit up an area besides the Moon as it came around the Earth, so that the viewer can experience what we are talking about visually, and because it was fun!

Alex and I had a great discussion over what happened and I hope that you will enjoy it as well.

The Light Beside the Moon – What is it?

Ultimately, we do not know what caused the light at the side of the Moon. Over time, data will be collected by scientists that look at these things, and our cultural and scientific theories will be reviewed.

But it has to be brought up for us to know that there might be something more going on than we realize. When the evidence is something that we can perceive with our human senses, it gives power to the experience, and in turn powers our desire to know, ‘why?’.

Being Willing to Ask – What If?

I feel that it is interesting to take a look at something that we witness visually, and be willing to ask ‘what is that’, even when what we see differs from what we have always been told is true.

In this case, I do have a photograph that illustrates a large lighted area to the left of the Moon as the Moon un-eclipses, but my camera was not accurate enough to pick up the rays I saw emanating or the dark space between the light and the Moon.

Thankfully, the artist Nubia was able to recreate what I saw for this article. However, the photograph I do have does show there was an unusual light to the left of the moon, so this is some photographic evidence that we do have.

Play by Play of Our Jam Session on What I Saw During the Full Lunar Eclipse January 31 2018

Here is an overview of the What I Saw During the Full Lunar Eclipse video and of the content we discussed. Numbers indicate the minutes:seconds that is the location of this commentary in the video.

0.00 This video is about the lunar eclipse of January 31 2018, which was seen in the United States and around the world.

1.00. Alex describes that this was a blue moon (second full moon of the month), it was a super moon (closest in orbit to the Earth), it was a blood moon (it was red) and it was a total eclipse of the moon.

150 years ago was the last time this combination happened, and on that day the slaves were freed in America. Hopefully this is a good portent for freedom for humanity.

2:37 I saw the eclipsed moon and it was orange-y red, and I saw the full eclipse. But as the moon started to un-eclipse, I saw something really interesting. It was a bright light to the left of the moon, as the moon began to un-eclipse, that was not touching the moon.

Alex – the moon only reflects ambient light, but it is like a mirror in the sky in a way, with no rays radiating out from the moon because it has no light source of it’s own.

I could see this effect of the bright light with my eyes.

4:40 However I met an artist yesterday, Nubia, and her Instagram is Nubiag29. She does wonderful art and custom art images, and she also has an interest in extraterrestrials and UFOs. And I was very fortunate as she offered to create an image for me of what I saw when the moon began to un-eclipse.

5:39 I have a photo of the light to the left of the moon with what my camera could capture. We look at the photograph and use a graphic to show the extra light to the left of the moon.

I could not fully capture what I saw on camera because the camera wasn’t able to
clearly take the photo with the levels of brightness involved. Thus in my photo the light blends into the moon – however, in the photograph you can see that there is both energy and light to the left of the moon that shouldn’t be there! I added a purple circle graphic to indicate the circumference of the moon, so that you can see the extra light to the left of the moon.

10:35 Alex honors the technology because dang this is way more advanced technology than we have ever had on a personal level, before. I talk about how I wished I had grabbed my professional camera! We discuss camera technology and I send my phone camera a kiss.

12:00 We talk about the artist who created a hand done image for me of what I saw and show the art she created of what I saw during the lunar eclipse. Thanks so much, Nubia!

Nubia has a personal interest in UFOs and extraterrestrials. During our conversation, Nubia and I had a lovely discussion about these as well as about personal energy management.

Thank you so much for being here, today! I can’t wait to discuss more with you about what I saw during the full lunar eclipse. In the next video on this eclipse, Alex and I will review four ‘interesting stories’ of what may have occurred!
